Texas Rangers Shortstop Corey Seager Ranks High in MLB Jersey Sales for 2024
Major League Baseball fans have spoken once again as Shohei Ohtani continues to dominate jersey sales for the second consecutive season. The Los Angeles Angels’ two-way star made history by being the first player to achieve 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases in a single year. Following closely behind Ohtani in jersey sales are Bryce Harper of the Philadelphia Phillies, Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees, and Mookie Betts of the Los Angeles Dodgers, according to Major League Baseball and MLB Players Inc.
This year’s top four sellers remained the same as they were at the All-Star break, with Ohtani leading the pack. Francisco Lindor of the New York Mets climbed two spots to fifth, while Jose Altuve of the Houston Astros also moved up two places to eighth. Meanwhile, Corey Seager of the Texas Rangers slipped two spots to 11th, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Toronto Blue Jays rose to 12th.
The list also saw some new faces, with Cleveland Guardians’ José Ramírez entering the top 20 at 17th and Dodgers’ pitcher Clayton Kershaw debuting at 19th after returning from shoulder surgery in late July. Adley Rutschman of the Baltimore Orioles dropped to 20th, while Atlanta Braves’ Matt Olson and Toronto Blue Jays’ Bo Bichette fell off the list.
It’s clear that fan favorites and standout performers continue to drive jersey sales in Major League Baseball. The popularity of players like Ohtani, Harper, and Judge reflects their impact on the field and their connection with fans. As the season progresses, it will be interesting to see how these rankings evolve and which players will continue to capture the hearts of baseball enthusiasts across the country.
