Team USA Reveals New Olympic Basketball Jerseys

Two basketball stars from Team USA recently unveiled the uniforms that will be worn at the 2024 Olympic Games. Kevin Durant, a forward for the Phoenix Suns, showcased the white edition of the uniforms, featuring “USA” in white lettering with navy blue trim on the front. The design includes a navy blue stripe that transitions into a misty red shade on the shorts, accented with a white star at the bottom.

A’ja Wilson, a forward for the Las Vegas Aces, sported the red edition of the uniforms, which boasts a vertical pattern, red lettering, and white trimming. Similar to the white version, this uniform also incorporates a navy blue stripe that transforms into a misty red hue on the shorts, with a red star at the bottom.

The women’s team will feature prominent WNBA stars alongside Wilson, including Jewell Loyd from the Seattle Storm, Brittney Griner and Diana Taurasi from the Phoenix Mercury, Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu from the New York Liberty. Diana Taurasi, a veteran player, will be participating in her sixth Olympics.

On the men’s side, the team is stacked with star power, including LeBron James from the Los Angeles Lakers, who will be competing in his fifth Olympic Games. Other notable players on the men’s team include Anthony Edwards from the Minnesota Timberwolves and Stephen Curry from the Golden State Warriors.

The Paris Olympic Games’ opening ceremony is scheduled for July 26. The men’s team will kick off their campaign on July 28 against Serbia, while the women’s team will take on Japan on July 29.
